Episode 52

Chuma’s Rise

Khaya is defeated when he tells Nandi about his agreement with Chuma. Rebs feels jilted when Chuma cancels their deal. Amahle fumes when she sees Onicca in the music video. Nomsa and Nomcebo’s relationship gets stronger.

Episode 53

The Rise Of The Underdog.

Amahle is devastated when she discovers that Velaphi slept with Onicca. Chuma surprises his crew when he announces they’re taking over the depot. Chuma borrows R100,000 from the company and Nandi is happy to give it to him.

Chuma receives the next stock of counterfeit cigarettes. Things go well until TK and his officers turn the community upside down confiscating illegal cigarettes. Rebs secures a gig for Velaphi who is in a fix when Thenji bans him from Rebs’ house.

Episode 55

Rebecca Rising

Velaphi fails to change Amahle’s mind about breaking up with him. TK interrogates the Sokhulus. A devastated Khaya asks Chuma for the R100,000 he borrowed but Chuma lies. Nelly scams the scammer when she hides money from Nka.

Episode 56

For A Good Cause

Chuma is shocked when he finds out Martha is Rebs’ spy. TK is convinced Khaya is the one behind the illegal cigarettes. Nelly announces the students who have passed. Velaphi finds Pheko and Rebs in a compromising position.

Episode 57

A Gift That Keeps On Giving

Velaphi tells Pheko why he left home. Rebs reminds him that he will always have a room at her house. Matshidiso flaunts her matric certificate. Sgara sees a picture of Chuma in the newspaper and celebrates as he has finally found Lazarus.

Rebs’ mind goes into overdrive after Velaphi reveals that Khaya knew about Ifalethu not being Chuma’s child. TK takes Rebs’ deal. Khaya is brought into the police station. Sgara leaves a voice message for the chief about Lazarus and heads for Eshlahleni.

Episode 59

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Bandze and Nomcebo are in shock when they’re ambushed and tied up by Sgara. There’s a standoff and someone is shot. People hound a popular Martha, wanting to take pictures with her. Pheko is bummed when Velaphi tells him he trusts Khaya.

Episode 60

Fight and Makeup

It’s the aftermath of the shootout between Sgara and Chuma. TK spits fire when he doesn’t find the cigarettes. Leadership plays cupid between Thenji and TK. Chuma shocks Nomcebo when he ends things with her.

Episode 61

When It All Comes Together

Rebs pretends to be concerned about Chuma and implores Velaphi to get Ifalethu’s DNA. Nolitha prepares for her launch and is angry when Velaphi bullies his way into her event, telling her him and Nyiko will be performing or else.

Episode 62

Body Of Truth

Nolitha is all smiles when Chuma announces that he put all his shares in Ifalethu’s name. Rebs gets the DNA results back and reveals the news to Nomcebo. Matshidiso returns from her trip and Bulelani is shocked when he finds her drinking herself into a stupor.

Checkmate

Nolitha praises Chuma for looking out for his son. Nomsa seethes when Rebs comes to Nolitha’s launch. Martha does the opening performance. Chuma learns that Nomncebo is Nomsa’s friend and Nomncebo reveals Ifalethu’s paternity.

Episode 64

The Truth Shall Set You Free

The launch party comes to a standstill as everyone reacts with shock after Nomcebo’s bombshell. A raging Chuma makes to attack Khaya. Later, at Velaphi’s handover ceremony, the Sokhulus realise that Chuma has disappeared with Ifalethu.

Episode 65

Manic Mode

Velaphi is annoyed that Ifa’s disappearance is taking the attention away from him. Big Swati reveals he wants to take the boys on tour but Velaphi expresses his concern about missing school. The Sokhulus are in panic mode.

Chuma and Khaya have a fallout over Ifalethu and Chuma pulls out a gun. Velaphi feels unappreciated and seeks advice from Pheko about his music career. Tensions rise when Leadership gatecrashes TK and Thenji’s romantic day.

Episode 67

The Toxic Mother

Makazi enters, guns blazing, demanding Khaya takes in Nolitha and Ifa. Nelly advises Thenji to address whatever issues she has with TK. Bulelani opens old wounds when he accuses Nomsa of being toxic. Nomsa breaks down.

Episode 68

Blast From The Past

Nomsa is shaken to see her baby daddy Solly on her doorstep. Khaya tries to deal with Nandi, Nolitha and a crying baby in one angry house. Velaphi feels like he’s making strides with Amahle until he is reminded that he’s leaving.

The Return Of Bab Gumede

Bulelani is surprised to see Bra Solly and Khaya is shocked. Velaphi is surprised when Thenjiwe comes to him with a gift for the road. and he’s left feeling sad when Amahle gives him a baby CT scan to take on tour.

Episode 70

Boys Will Be Boys

Velaphi shocks Nyiko and Nkanyiso with his choice. Bra Solly begs Bulelani to help him see his kids and admits his mistakes. Nomcebo lets Bra Solly wait for Chuma. Rebs feels like a third wheel when she sees Bra Solly and Pheko.

Episode 71

Saving each other

Thenji is emotional about her encounter with her father. Velaphi learns that his grandfather is in town and rocks up at the Sokhulus to meet him. Pheko realises he has another Sokhulu who’s going to stop his plans.

Episode 72

The Bra Solly Effect

Chuma tells his lawyer to remove Ifalethu as the owner of his shares for the depot. Rebs acts like a teenage groupie after catching a peek of Bra Solly. Nolitha starts microdosing Ifalethu to make him stop crying.

Episode 73

Roar, Simba

Bulelani is shocked to see a lion in the street and all the families in Esihlahleni are concerned. Pheko and Rebs are ecstatic that they will be in lockdown together. Nolitha continues to microdose Ifalethu. Chuma and Bandze kidnap Khaya.

Episode 74

Into the lion’s den

Khaya realizes that Chuma kidnapped him and he pleads for his life. TK announces a R10,000 reward for anyone who can capture the lion. The streets are empty and the community live in fear. Thenji calls Bra Solly and Nomsa out on their hypocrisy.
